A registry that doesn’t JUST cater to the Big Box Stores. I want to incorporate the mom and pop shops, it’s what we live by- we love supporting local and I think with 2020, now more than ever, we could really incorporate that in our daily life.

BABY REGISTRY STORY.

I want you to know who we are, not just what we NEED but those little things that will make our baby because he’s half of me, half of his father and full of so much life and happiness with you as aunties and uncles and friends in his life.

This is our FIRST BABY and if you know, we are having a baby BOY.

His due month is mid to end of April and as I write this I am turning the corner into my third trimester.

Us & Our Baby Story

Our First Ultrasound

Hearing the heart beat for the first time was so beautiful. One thing the nurse practioners kept telling us at every ultra sound was “WOW, YOUR BABY HAS ONE STRONG HEART BEAT.” It somehow made me feel proud, my baby’s heart was strong and full of love.

The heart is heard as early as 5 weeks giving way to the baby’s growth throughout the transition and into life, childhood and beyond. It really makes you think where the true “brain” lives.

My Pregnancy

I think we all grow up as little girls hearing horror stories of pregnancy. My experience was the complete opposite. This little bean was gentle to mama and I haven’t had any qualms at all. AT ALL

No weird cravings or adversions, my sleep has been perfect and all the while I just think… am I a boring pregnant lady? Ha.

I knew right away I was pregnant at 4-5 weeks

**To celebrate our halfway through pregnancy we went to our FIRST DATE SPOT**

We have completed our Hypnobirthing Classes and will be having a home birth. I finished the book before the class eager to get started and to meet other mothers who also felt the same way I felt about birth: it’s natural, it isn’t scary and you don’t need to be in a hospital if you don’t have any problems with your pregnancy… so! We decided to have a midwife team and a Doctor who specializes in home births to be our partners to help me and baby at home in a bath of water.

Things we would love to have for our baby…

We don’t “need much” and we aren’t particular about what you want to give to our baby except that it comes from the heart, and that you find it helps someone’s business in some way and helps keep him warm, or fed, or clean.

Did you know that babies don’t see color until they’re 5 months old? Any block shape black and white pattern are really good for cognetive learning at such as an early age.

Gotta try and keep him clothed! Good thing he’s born in the spring, we won’t have to worry about him getting cold in our summer months. We will not need anything “NEWBORN” size.
