Coronado Silver Strand Portrait session with Cheyenne / a morning story
A foggy morning is my ultimate favorite. No matter where I am, fog sets me to feel at ease, at home, theres a comfortable feeling to the slowness and ease of fog.
Waking up to it all my life in San Diego, with a coffee in hand, sitting on my porch and watching the dew on the plants is bound to be my favorite piece of me. This piece of me, wholeness and still, is my happy place.
Cheyenne and I met in Silver Strand, Coronado, a place that my grandfather always took me in search of Sand Dollars. Here as a child we would comb the beach, walking up and down finding some whole ones, those pure ones that somehow made it to my toes. While shooting a Sand Dollar washed right to me, right in front of where I stood and immediately I felt that rush of memory, the smell of the beach in my hair as a child, the sand in the backseat of my grandparents car... the fog brought to me a piece of my heart.
